27th October 2007 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: S / SSW Wind Stength: 20 - 26 mph Surf / Sea State: Small waves Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Reasonable swell but small waves on a falling tide. Cross shore to start with, but then cross-on as wind swung round plus the direction of the waves changed as the tide dropped. Very busy with boards and kites. Best conditions looked to be near low tide when the swells were concentrated into a smaller area (I had packed up by then). Lightly powered on 4.7 most of time, but Max 2 Air feels hectic on the chop, need something between this and the Rad Wave 69. Combat fine on RDM, but North XT rope slips - would be excellent if it worked properly. |
